Due to issues that were found during the preparation of the migration of our internet firewall, our network provider cannot guarantee a stable solution for our internet related traffic. We decided to postpone this maintenance and we will keep you informed as soon as a new planning is made.

This is just a friendly reminder that the scheduled maintenance event "Migration external firewall to new datacenter" will take place on May 18, 2019.

On Saturday, May 18, 2019, the migration of the external firewall will take place. The external firewall in the new datacenter will be placed in production while the external firewall in the current datacenter will be decommissioned. Baseline load testing will be performed from 7PM until 9PM. (no expected impact) Our network provider will start with the migration at 9PM and we expect to be operational at 10PM. During the migration end-users will be disconnected and will not be able to (re)connect until the external firewall in the new datacenter is up and running. Load testing of the new environment will be performed between 10PM and 12AM (midnight). (corrective actions may interrupt end-user sessions) Functional testing is planned from 12AM to 02AM. (corrective actions may interrupt end-user sessions)
A safety margin for rollback is in place until 4AM.
