In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Jan 24, 11:01 CET
Scheduled - As communicated earlier, vulnerabilities have been discovered in the Citrix NetScaler (Citrix gateways) we are using. We have already implemented mitigation measures as recommended by Citrix. But we were still waiting for a final fix. The final fixes have been released today.

Today, we start implementing and validating the fix in our acceptance environment. If our tests are successful, we will start Monday applying the fixes in production. We expect to finish on Wednesday.

Impact: using our load balancing capabilities, we expect to do this without impacting customers.

In technical terms, on our load balancer, we will stop a subset of NetScalers to accept new connections, but all the active connections remain. Once all the active connections have been released by the users, we install the fix and put them back online to receive new connections.

Maintenance work storage Feb 8, 21:00 - Feb 9, 06:00 CET
In the weekend of February, 8, maintenance will be carried out on the storage environment of our datacenter. Service running on Azure will not be impacted.
The maintenance will start on Saturday, at 21h and will be finished on Sunday at 6h (in the morning). To minimise the impact, the maintenance will be carried out on the passive node of the storage. Only during failover of the storage, users and applications can experience issues

in technical terms: we will perform an upgrade of the operating system of the storage infrastructure. By using the build in failover mechanism, data will be available at all times. During the failover, the connection of CIFS shares, will be closed and needs to recreated. Users and application using network shares can experience a hickup will working

TLS 1.2 enforcement Feb 13, 18:00-22:00 CET
On February 13, 2020, we will start enforcing TLS 1.2. This means that we will not allow connections made by TLS 1.0 or TLS 1.1. Make sure that you and your clients are using tools that allow TLS 1.2. This includes: citrix client, web browser, tools using API’s, …

If you want to know more regarding the impact and what you need to do, please have a look at: https://downloads.aspex.be/ASPEX_TLS_1.2.pdf

If you have further question, do not hesitate to contact us.

In progress - Scheduled maintenance is currently in progress. We will provide updates as necessary.
Jan 15, 00:01 CET
Scheduled - This evening, we will apply through emergency procedures a workaround for the recent discoverd vulnerability in the Citrix Netscalers we are using. A Full fix isn't available yet.

We have already applied the workaround in our acceptance environment and on 1 Netscalers in production. Tonight we will apply it to the rest of our environment. We are taking measures to have as low impact as possible, but some connection might get disconnected.

In technical terms: we will apply the workaround as documented on https://support.citrix.com/article/CTX267679. The Netscaler who need to receive the workaround, don't receive new connections. Connections still active when applying the workaround will be closed. Users can reconnect to their applications
